Hey Gary!
On my 6-string, I've been using a low G tuning (DGDGBD low to high). On my 7-string, I've been using A6 (AC#EF#AC#E). I change my tunings based on my needs on a particular job. These tunings work well on the CY gig, but I've also used open E and standard dobro tuning in the past.
The Live Steel Strings are great. I aim to order some more when I run out of my current supply of strings.
