Since this is something of a hybrid, I wasn't sure which section to post this in, but because it is currently played with a bar, here it is in Steel Guitars For Sale. This is a Washburn Rover Travel Guitar with an extension nut on it. This started as an interesting curiosity experiment which turned out much better than I expected. The sound is on the quiet side, but not tinny or uke-like as I feared it might be. This guitar has a 24 inch scale length.

This guitar is used, but in very good condition. You can see some other photos and advertising details at the Musician's Friend website. I am only selling it because it does not get played much any more and needs to go to someone who will enjoy it.

The reviews at the MF site mention a smelly case. This one is no exception. It has been cleaned and aired out, but it still has a lingering odor when it is first opened after being closed for awhile. So far, the odor is confined to the case and does not extend to the guitar.

The cost for a new one of these is $160 plus about $8 for an extension nut. I would like to get $80 for the guitar, nut and case in the original box plus $20 for shipping via USPS. That is a total of $100 shipped in the US. Shipping out of the country might be possible, but I am afraid that the cost will be prohibitive.
