I haven't heard anything about Little David in years. I played steel for him in Indy a time or two in the'70's and I believe we did a very long version of "Butter Beans". I hope you have a great night Cal. |

Thanks, Ben. I did have a great time. David does some really good country stuff, and the band was real tight. David's working on some sort of TV show right now, and has a new record coming out, which we rehearsed night, so he's been busy with his career. And he's a pretty good ol' boy. _________________ C#

I remember Little David as being a good ole boy. He was fun to work with and treated us very well.
I'm glad you enjoyed the show and I kind of knew you would. |

Jimmy Peppers sent him a song demo CD for his publishing company, that I produced and recorded. Jimmy has never said how that turned out. |

Cal, I ran into Little David at the tire shop last Thursday. I confess I did not recognize him but I overheard a bit of a phone conversation about a Heart of Texas record. I introduced myself and we had a nice little chat waiting for our cars. He mentioned the gig, but it was too far away for me. Those chance encounters are some of the coolest things about living in Nashville.

I don't know if he recorded any of Peppers' songs. They were for his "new" publishing company. He sent them to him, probably around the 1st of the year.
The last song demo CD project I did for Peppers, he sent to Hank Williams, Jr and he got a publishing contract offer from Hank's publishing company from that. |
