We have heard from the 'Biloxi Bad Boys',the guys who come up each year to bring the fish and do the cooking, that they are okay, though their homes are badly damaged and they are very busy with the clean up and rebuilding of their own places and the whole area. But, they have accepted our invitation to allow all of us to "serve" them this time, and try to give them a much needed "break" and some "R and R" from their toils. Sunday, October 16, 1:00p.m.- on, we will gather here in Hicks Holler to treat the boys (and us) to some great catfish and "covered dishes" (provided by wives and girlfriends and those pickers of you who's Mama's taught you how to cook...I know, that's why you have wives and girlfriends )
There'll also be plenty of "pickin and grinnin". Ya'll come!! E-mail us if you're planning to make it!

Hey Ya'll....Laney was kidding about the E-mail business;just do that if you need directions...and remember; to qualify for an invitation to this shindig you must BE a steel player, OR, KNOW a steel player, OR like steel quitar music, OR, look like Shania Twain.

Laney & Russ- Darn!-I can't make it again this year, as we have company coming from St. Louis that week-end. What reall hurts, is, you are having it on a great day for me- I would love to have Laney sing "Happy Birthday" to me! Also, Eve sends her regrets and her love,

Russ & Laney,
I have a hound that's part walker coonhound and part bird dog (she's 12 yrs old and points at trees), if that helps qualify? And I look like Shania. BUT, I gotta gig that weekend. Sorry, I can't be there And, shazzam, I like to down those catfish. To catch, I use shad guts and chicken liver.
Dino, there goes my ride

Hey Russ,
How about a "Shania Twang". my starter wife could almost pass for her if you squint your eyes real close together.
