Serial #6497 Black with 705 BL pickups (also have GeorgeL E66PU and orig Emmons PU. Original volume pedal. Have many extra Emmons parts including bell cranks, rods,and swivals: 6 knee lever stems. Ron; That looks like a really nice one. I'd like to have it myself, but my Psychiatrist says no more steel guitars for me. I need help.

Hi Ron, can you tell me how you got those 705's in your Emmons? I have a '78 cuttail that I tried to put original 705's in and they just would not fit. The pickups hit the pillow blocks everytime... I have truetones in there now which are a lot shorter than the 705's so it's no problem. Would like to get the 705's (actually 605's) in there though, they've been my favorite pickups so far.
