I got to met Bobby Garrett before my dad passed in 1970. Dad at Sigler`s Studio Of Music had the only Fender and Gibson Franchise in the late 40` threw mid to late 50`s or early 60`s between Dallas TX.and Shreveport La..Bobby was just opening his doors of his music store on 5TH St,Tyler,Tx and dad was disabled at this time and i was his driver and met with Bobby seeing if any way my dad could aid him in getting a good instrument inventory for his start-up.Some great memories in ability to shake hands with some greats.
