I thought this might be of interest. I just saw a record turntable at Walmart that will convert all your old vinyl records into MP-files. It is called Profile Pro and sell's for $69.00.

It's great to see they are still making affordable turntables. I ran thru a needle doing about 20 records so stock up.

Be sure to read pro/con user reviews prior to purchasing this turntable, it might not be the great deal it sounds like it could be.
If you already have a decent turntable that doesn't convert you may want try the Ion Audio REC2PC RCA-USB cable adapter.

I have a Memorex preamp. Mag cartridge in, line out. On off, no other controls. Put your turntable next to the computer and with adapters, connect the RCA plug line outs into the computers line in.

Use the computer to record to MP3 or Wav.
