Well, I jut had to mosey over to Fred's to have a test drive of his new S-10, 3x4...and glad i did too! The first thing I noticed was the compact, great looking case that actually looked like I could easily take wherever I needed to go...at 36 pounds total, I could even carry it! It just looked sweet in the case, with Fred's usual attention to detail and clean construction. It went together like a snap, and Fred went over with me as it went together where he was able to trim the price without sacrificing sound or quality. It has a 2 up/ 1 down changer, and worked quietly and smoothly. The George L pickup looked cool, and the machined maple neck worked great while saving weight over aluminum. The pedals and knee levers were just smooth as all get out, and the sound...full, smooth, and great! Though, it did sound better when Fred played it Laughing Laughing

I also checked for cabinet drop....I had to REALLY listen to detect any....and mostly these old ears couldn't hear any...great sustain, 'natch, as all of fred's guitars have.

I would add the $49 detachable wrist rest...it makes it easier for me to play..

And like Fred says, you can get any color as long as it's black!

Well, 'nough said...it's a winner Fred! I'll be in line if I have to start carrying one to play with my buds! (I have two Judges anyway.... Very Happy). Ignore th old guy in the picture...look at the axe!!
