The Stardust Cowboys will be playing in a smaller configuration this Sunday, 7-15 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm at Twin Peaks Orchard, 6105 Hwy. 193, Newcastle, CA. This is an actual orchard, and the gig is very family friendly. One of their specialties is persimmons. No charge to attend.

The full band does not play again until early October. We'll be playing at the Western Swing Society of Sacramento, Hall of Fame weekend; specifically on Saturday 10-6 at 8 pm, and then again on Sunday 10-7 at 3 pm. There will be lots of other steel player at this event. Bobby Black is a frequent player. This is held at the Machinist Hall in Rancho Cordova, just off Sunrise Blvd (south of Hwy 50).
