Johnny passed away this past weekend. He had some national hits back in the late 50's/early 60's and wrote many songs.

I had the pleasure of working with him on a few occasions and he was a supporter of the steel guitar.

RIP Johnny.

Both George and Johnny share in the fact that each
of them have merited a Lifetime Achievement Award
in the Midwest Rock & Country Hall of Fame.

George, I recall you telling me of Johnny some
time back during one of our visits and am sorry
to hear that your have lost this friend and fellow
musician.
