I downloaded this collection years ago and it is currently available at phillipsmusic.net - Many , if not all, of the Real Book One songs in BIAB format (with heads!). In the jazz world The Real Book is the "one they're [we're] using". When I started lessons with Dan Weiner of Brookline, Mass. back in the 80's, his first lesson included, "Get a Real Book!" It's the book that I, and tons of others, have cut my teeth on to learn jazz tunes -- and still learn:

I would be glad to email you a handful of songs, or the zip file (1.1 MB) of the collection, which is also available at Phillips . _________________ --carl

Wow, Carl, that is a huge amount of music! I also did not know about Real Books, so have found some downloads for those.... I'm getting back into music after dropping it in my twenties as other interests occupied my time, so am now looking into lots of resources, such as this. I like jazz on psg, so this is a good fit.

You're welcome - it's amazing what's online now compared to 20 years ago when home computer prices were sky high and more of a luxury than an everyday item _________________ --carl

Hi Carl, Thanks for the heads up to the Real Book Collection. Its amazing what's out there, if only I would have had the internet 50 years ago.

Hello Carl, is there somewhere I may look for the above song in BIAB please. It's a 1948 song written by Al Trace, recorded by Roy Rogers, Nat King Cole and others.
Thanks.

Anders, there is a problem and I don't know who can fix it. It's been almost a month since I applied to the OWNER of the BIABFSG, but I just learned that the link is not correct, and some lady by the nmae of Nessie Anne Russel is receiving all the emails.
Does the owner, who's surname I believe is Chan in Hong Kong, ever come on this forum, or what do we do. The lady is getting inundated with his emails.
Can somebody help.
Mr. Chan, are you listening!!!!!!!

Hello George,
Well, I have also noticed that I'm still a pending member.
I guess that you have used the contact form that Dr. Jen-Kuang Chen has on his web site
http://www.jkchang.com/contact/
Don't think Dr. Chen is a member of this forum.
The latest thread on the BIABFSG forum was from Dr. Chen and was posted on the 1 of September 2012, so it seems like there is some activity on it.
You could try to send a message to the forum. The message probably have to be approved by the forum owner, Dr. Chen, but he might see this message and answer.
I also found that he is on Facebook!
http://www.facebook.com/jenkuang.chang
So that is also an possibility!
Another possibility is that you make your own BIAB file. The lead sheet, with chords, is available for free at http://www.wikifonia.org/node/5285
and if you do, please share it with the rest of us!
Other than that, there is not much you can do...
