Oh, I get it.
You don't have to play fast if you can play with good tone and intonation, and have technique that evokes emotion.

I don't suppose there is a formula for that, huh?
Smile

Very nice.

James,

Beautiful arrangement and very sensitive playing, lovely tone which is perfect for the tune. As Hank Marvin once said, treat every note like a symphony.

Do I recognize the Firth of Forth and Princess Gardens of Edinburgh?

Bravo!

Kay

Thank you all for listening to my recording and taking time to comment.

Kay, you do indeed recognise the River Forth with the 100 year-old Forth Bridge in the background, that is near to where I live and a go there often on my Bike when the weather is good.

Bill,
Flashy playing, or "shredding" I think they call it is fine for the Showmen, I'm just a backroom player who likes nice tunes someone might recognise.

I just had to go back and watch some more of your videos, James.
Tell me. Was the couple in this video dancing to the song you are playing?
I know they could hear you.

Bill,
I do from time to time get asked to provide background music like this for dancers and various other people, like Edan Everly, the son of Don Everly who gives me a credit on his latest CD along with The Everly Brothers and other musicians.

I'm not a business man, I don't charge for what I do, if someone likes what I do I give it for nothing if they ask. I just love Music, I love the people here on the Forum who share their talent and give help and advice when asked and I try to do just the same.

James.
