We had a good turn out for our meeting Sunday. Was good to meet John Buffington, from Owasso, Ok. He is a super steel player, some great sounds and fast fingers also. There were 13 steelers there but only 9 played. Two were in the back up band and the other two just listened. Had several in the audience that came in to hear some good music. We are planning a concert for Oct. the 7th. Get ready and we will see you there. Thanks to Gary and Pam for the food service, sure is nice to have fresh hot food there and good prices too. Our club is getting better all the time and we are still looking for some new players to come in. We had one new picker yesterday. Only been on steel 3 Mo's. and sure is doing good. He is getting some lessons from Jerry Knapper so we'll have to keep a close watch on him!!!! Good to have you with us Tony Tipton. We'll look for you next Mo.

Hi Everyone,

Well, all of you Arklahoma members that didn't come missed a great time. It was great to have John Buffington here. We had a great time. We look forward to having more players come and join in. I know there are a lot of you out there. We have players at all levels so come on down regardless of how well you think you play. We all learn something every meeting.

I look forward to our October meeting. It should be great.

See you there!!!

Hal
