So my buddy's wife calls me up...she says: "Gosh, Joe (not real name) really loves your steel playing, and I'm thinking I want to surprise him by getting him one of his own"...
Turns out what she meant was, she wanted to get him a vintage PP with the amp, pacaseat, pedal, bar, and all...Life has been good to them, obviously...
So I fished around and set her up with that black D-10 w/8x6 from Mike Cass, and all the rest of the stuff. She surprised him with this nice little gift package...not bad for your first steel guitar, eh?
Don't we all need a wife like that. I post this so maybe some of you can tell your wives this little story and maybe...well, you never know...
