Peavey 'Prowler' amp, all tube (2-6L6,3-12AX7)including reverb channel. Rich sounding reverb, first Peavey amp that I have owned that I could honestly make that statement about. Overall condition is very good plus, no scuffs or tears whatsoever in black tolex or grillcloth. Stock Scorpion speaker has been replaced with a 1201-8 Black Widow..Excellent dual purpose amp; clean channel works great for steel guitar (better sounding by far than a Nashville 112, IMO!)and being a tube amp, overdrive channel has a bit more warmth for six string use. Cabinet dimensions identical to those of a 'NV-112' (cabinet top is straight, no cutout for control panel). Weighs in at just under 50 pounds..This was a very limited production amp, only manufactured for one or two years I believe...Will attempt to add photos at a later date, but will gladly send copies (as soon as available) to all seriously interested parties..$350.00/ $250.00 without BW speaker. Plus actual shipping costs....Thank you. |

Also for sale without BW speaker for $250.00. (Purchasing with an unloaded cabinet not only reduces shipping costs, but helps minimize risk of damage during transit). If you do not agree that this amp outperforms a 'Nashville 112' (with a proper speaker installed), I will gladly buy it back....Thanks. |

Folks, these Prowlers are sleepers! They have the sweetest, smooth tone. I've had one, and they really are great for steel. You'd be amazed at how loud, clean and smooth these jewels are.
Wish I could buy it myself! |
