It's hard to believe that 4 years ago tomorrow (Sept.17th 2001) MSA was reborn at a Restaurant in Dallas. After a meeting and handshakes the new MSA emerged.
The next day we went to work, and within a few short months we installed all business procedures, created what we believe to be an innovation in steel guitar design, made all the tooling, set up production procedures, had our website up and running, formulated a marketing plan, and the first Millennium was on legs and made it's first sound about 9 months later.
All of us at MSA wish to extend our most sincere appreciation to those who have had faith and trust in us. Without you we would not be here today, all our efforts in your behalf would have been in vain, and our journey into the future of steel guitar would not have been possible.
We at MSA sincerely thank each of you (and you know who you are) for believing in us. Be assured every day that goes by we are doing our very best to live up to your trust and expectations of what you expect in a quality steel guitar and what you believe a company should stand for.
Our continued commitment and faith combined with our "family's" trust and faith is us, is very special and we truly believe, ensures success. |

I agree those new MSA pedal steels are great and sound great. I was in the studio 3 days with Reece and that steel was like a rock, no tuning problems at all and really fast action on the pedals. Reece was hitting half stops right on (of course he knows what he's doing). After the session I told him if I still played steel I'd be trying to buy an MSA from him. When the president of the company is as honest and sincere as Reece you know your dealing with the right company

I must agree that it doesn't seem like it's been 4 years ago....time certianly flies!!
Honestly though, I believe the majority of the thanks, should go to the MSA team for having the foresight and pure guts to develop such an instrument for such a relatively small market! MSA has definatly "raised the bar" with their innovative designs! Bringing the steel guitar well into the 21st century!
So as appreciative as MSA is to it's loyal family.....please know that your loyal family is even more appreciative for your hard work!! Without you folks, there's no telling how long we would have been playing on long past technology!!
I just don't think there is a finer bunch of folks to deal with than what you'll find at MSA!! I'm proud to call each of you my friends!!
Thank YOU!!!!! |

Congratulations to the MSA Team!! MSA has always been a leader in creative and innovative designs for the steel guitar. I still think of everyone of my MSA (5 over the years) as the best playing steels. The most impressive was a D-12 "Jamican Brown" laquer body steel with the silk screen fretboard and built in fuzztone...what a great looking and designed steel!
Hey Johnny...leave your house door unlocked and I'll just sneak in and "borrow" your new MSA for a few years!! Great job to the MSA Team... |

You guys sure did it up right. Every time I sit behind my new Legend and play it, I don't want to quit. I haven't been this inspired to practice in a long long time. This thing plays, sounds, and looks great. Plus a very friendly and helpful staff helps a lot too. Thanks Reece, Kyle, Dave, Jerry, and Johnny for a job well done.
