The neck selector switch on my 87 D-10 Lashley Legrande has bit the dust. The contacts have opened up to where they make intermittent or no contact. The back neck went completely out last night. Would appreciate it if someone could point me to a source for the switch. I haven't been able to raise anyone at Emmons for a few days.

Hi Bill,

That switch is the very same as a 3-way Fender Telecaster pickup selector switch. If there is a Guitar Center or good musical instrument store nearby, you should be able to pick one up for under $15.

Hopefully, you are handy with a soldering iron. You'll need to modify the switch by weaving a short piece of wire through the terminals. If you look closly at your existing switch and the wiring schematic I've posted below, you'll see what I'm referring to.

Lynn, thanks much. The Tele switch works great.
