I have an out of state friend that would like to visit and/or attend any Portland Metro area steel jams or shows during November/ December.

Do YOU..........know of any? When and Where?

Hello Ray, I talked to Larry about the steel jam and He said...at least tentatively...that He didn't think He was going to set another one up this year...He said that He hadn't really heard that much inquiry about it,

Of course there isn't any inquiry, as a lot of us may be expecting that it will just come to pass without any inquiries. HOWEVER, If Larry isn't going to do it then we'll have to get it done another way, I for one am not willing to wait another year-plus before seeing (and hearing) the clan gathered together again.

Anyone have a suggestion for a venue? I will kick in what I can do if anyone wants to get heads together with me on this....

The Beaverton Elks worked great last time. Lynn Stafford knows the folks there.

I agree, it's time!

Guess I missed that one, I remember the Milwaukee Elks treating us real nice recently, the M&M in Gresham has hosted us in the past as well...

Shall we try to work up an event on December 2 or 9? Lynn Stafford are you up to making contact with the Elks folk?

All would appreciate you giving it a whirl.

It's gotta be a huge undertaking and I'm sure Larry has served all of us better than should be expected.

Keep us posted!

Does anyone have a direct contact with the Milwaukee Elks? Another location that might be equally super? It would be good to get a venue booked for Decmeber 2nd or 9th so that we can start spreading the word.
