The question has come up? What is the difference between a 2 Inch raise (done by manfacturer) and a Longer legs and Rods situation. Until today I thought that was a 2 Inch raise. Let us know what we are missing. Thank you for the info

They both do the same job.
My Sho-Bud has the "kit" with the rod extenders and the spacers above the pedal bar.

My Blanton came 2" over new. It has longer rods and there is a m/f standoff that screws into the top of the front legs, then screws into the body.

They both work fine. I guess the factory lift is nicer looking.
If you decide to go the lift kit route, get in touch with Mr. Jerry Roller. He will fix you up and not gouge you on the price.

Hope this helps
