Exactly right! Addictive? Definitely. Kinda like, another one will sound better or play better. Getting rid of a PSG is like a divorce. Get rid of it and then we turn right around and find another one. I've had close to 100 guitars and still doing it. If I had the money, I'd have a different PSG for each day of the week. It's what I like! |

I like to do that to Billy, I love playing different instrument and brand names. I've only not liked one guitar I've even owned but it was an sorta off brand. I think I'm on about 50 different guitars and still climbing. All the modern all pull guitars are good guitars as the P/Ps were all good guitars. I don't care what brand I play at any given time, just love em all but it's reall hard to beat a Z, an M or an R. Lol, Habit forming and very addictive. _________________ Henry Matthews

I've been implying it in my signature for a while now, but it is heart-warming to see there is now a sign saying it as well! _________________ The steel guitar is a hard mistress. She will obsess you, bemuse and bewitch you. She will dash your hopes on what seems to be whim, only to tease you into renewing the relationship once more so she can do it to you all over again...and yet, if you somehow manage to touch her in that certain magic way, she will yield up a sound which has so much soul, raw emotion and heartfelt depth to it that she will pierce you to the very core of your being. |

Henry,
Interesting that you list 4 letters of the alphabet in your signature, but only three make your short list.... Any comments? Since I live on the dark side of the planet (for PSG, anyway), I don't get the chance to play or even hear other instruments live. So, I find particularly interesting the info from someone like you who owns a number of them, and has owned nearly all of them.
Thanks,
Doug (who likes the letter Z so far) _________________ Bringing steel guitar to the bukid of Negros Oriental! |

Doug, I just really listed my favorites and I should have put the E in also and there is nothing wrong with any others, even ones I have. Just favorites I guess. You know, some people drive white vehicles and some like black or even red. Just personal presence. As I said above, I really love em all. _________________ Henry Matthews

You are right Henry. Steel guitar is pretty addicting. So much so that when Glen and I got married and he ask me where I wanted to go I said Steel Guitar show. I love steel guitar. Remember that cause a bunch of y'all went on our honeymoon with us. Sissy |
