This 1967 Emmons Push Pull is a great playing and sounding guitar. It is 8X4 in Emmons setup. As many of you know I got this guitar in a trade with Dallas great Junior Knight a couple of weeks ago. I had every intention of using it but found out what an endeavor it was going to be to change it to the Day setup I play. I took it to Gary Carpenter of Rains Guitars this weekend and he tweaked it for me and it's ready to go with a couple of mod changes from what Junior had: the pedals are Emmons, LKL raises the E's, RKL lowers the E's, LKR raises the 1st string a whole tone and the 2nd 1/2 tone, RKR lowers the 2nd 1/2 and a whole tone and lowers the 9th 1/2 tone. The C6th is all standard but pedal 4 is missing the rod to raise the 8th string. The bell crank is attached. Pedal 4 does raise the 4th string as it should. The case is the old style with the removable tray to which the legs attach. The hardware also rides in the top. The picture of the pegheads will show a 1/8" hole in the E9th side partially covered by the roller end of the peghead. There's another one that is under the 10th tuner on the C6th also partially covered by the roller end. Don't know why they're there. The pedal action on this guitar is very smooth and the sound is great. I will answer any questions I can but my knowledge of Push Pull guitars is very limited. I know the changer is called the "Cut Tail" type. Anyone who had heard Junior play this guitar knows what I mean by the great tone. I'm pricing it at $4200.00 plus shipping to recover what I had in the Rains D-10 I traded him. No trades please and shipping to the lower 48 only. Paypal ok if the buyer pays the 3% fee.

That guitar is a tone monster. If anyone heard Junior at Dallas in March, you would know what I mean. _________________ Henry Matthews
