Was watching 'Tender Mercies' today and recognized your name in the credits as being the steel player in the band that Robert Duvall befriends.
While watching the bar scene when the band was playing it looked like a real player was doing the steel work, which of course was you and also sang too.
My question is, was that you playing on the final song during the credits and where was the gas station filmed, it's supposedly outside Austin, but looks more like West Texas more.
That is one of my favorite films and I enjoy watching it every now and then.
