Hi guys, recently got an 8 string lap steel(C6 with a high G). Have been playing dobro for a while(G tuning). The main band I play in does a ton of minor key stuff so I thought an 8 string would be cool so I can get full minor chords. Anyway, I'm having a real tough time getting the hang of it. It's weird to me to have adjacent strings so close in pitch. I'm used to dobro/guitar world where I usually play 2 to 3 notes per string. I've started plotting out scale positions to learn the neck and I'm wondering if I'm on the right track. This is what I've got for D minor pentatonic. Thanks for looking, any input/advice is much appreciated!

You're on the right track.
I've found this site by John Ely very helpful for finding chords and scales.
