I'm a newbie, finally fulfilling a dream now more than 40 years old -- of course, that is learning to play the most fascinating instrument I have ever heard. Like most guys my age, I really woke up to the PSG in the summer of 1970 when I heard Jerry Garcia on the then new CS&N album doing "Teach Your Children" -- I'm workin' on that now.
In 1973, as some of the Forum members know, Michael Nesmith produced the Ian Matthews album "Valley Hi" with Red Rhodes playing PSG. In the almost 40 years since that album came out, Red's playing on the songs "Shady Lies" and Steve Young's "Seven Bridges Road" (among other songs Red Played on the album) have been two of my favorite PSG pieces. The ethereal quality/sound Red makes on 7 Bridges really gets to me.
I've searched all of the Forum using Red's name, tried to go through 104 pages of tab posts (while I should be practicing -- which is my preference).
So, my question is: Does anyone have tabs for all the PSG parts of both "Shady Lies" and 7 Bridges??
It will be a while before I will be able to tackle "Shady Lies", but if anyone has the tab for "Seven Bridges Road", PLEASE, PLEASE let me know, or where I might find it.
Thanks in advance -- back to practicing blocking and hittin' the right pedals the first time, every time. <G>
