Have a Carvin lap steel. Would like to get more bass. Am using 500k ohm pot for tuner with a .02 microferad cap. What do I need to change and to what value?? |

The tone knob won't increase bass, just shorts highs to ground, making the sound muddy, IMO.
If you want more bass, I'd add an EQ box or changes amps. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

You need a better amp. |
