Just pry it off from the edge. The whole grill comes out as 1 piece. It is held on by a hook and loop type fastener, similar to velcro. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Richard is correct but at times they get loose and people put screws in them from the side or bottom. I busted one one time. Didn't see the screws someone had put in. _________________ Henry Matthews
