I met Butch a few years ago at the St. Louis show, but haven't seen him for around 4 years. Any one know anything about him? Last I knew, he was down around San Antonio, Tx. Larry Baker

I saw him at St. Louis a few years ago and he had his U-12 for sale at the end room downstairs for $2,500 I believe. I wish I'd bought it as it was a very nice guitar. I can't remember the brand but it was the one made in Canada, maybe a Fulawkwa or something like that.......JH in Va.

Far as I know he's still in San Antonio.
Quite a charchter is Butch. Here's a clip of Butch with Marty Dahlgren who just passed on a couple of months ago. The late Big Bill Garner on the Peavey guitar.

Used to look forward to seeing and singing with Butch in the Falawka Room in St. Lo. Sure have missed him. Great player and quite a personality.
He lived in Adkins, TX and I lived there as a kid. Lot of great visits.
