Hello all. Has anyone heard of or played steel through an Egnater amp. I understand they are tube amps. Thanks

I just bought one. Rebel 20. Don't have it yet, maybe about a week.
It is an interesting amp. Two pairs of output tubes.
6V6 and 6BQ5/EL84. You can choose either or blend them together. Will be fun to play with. _________________ Bill |

Hi,
I posted about this recently, but no one had...
I just bought an Egnater rebel 30 amp, sounds great with guitar. I haven't had a chance to play the steel through it yet,but the clean channel has heaps of head room and is nice and clear, so I reckon it'll be good.
Should be handy for those gigs that people want me to play guitar and steel, it'll save me lugging 2 seperate amps.... |

I have just finished a little run with Jamey Johnson opening and his guitar player, Rowdy, was playing thru the 20 watt model. It sounded incredible but then Rowdy could play thru any amp and it would sound amazing. But the amp had alot of tone and big presence for 20 watts. |
