Decided I'd give a try at this old tune Buck Owens had out, "In The Palm Of Your Hand" in Memory of the late Mr. Tom Brumley

Hope it's somewhat enjoyable.
Thanks for taking the time to give a listen.

Hey Don, your sure sounding great my friend from Jersey.
I heard a girl sing that last month, and wanted to learn it.
I called Jean DeVore and ask her to learn it so we could to it
at the Southern Illinois Steel show. We only had 2 days to
learn it, before the show, and did it with out any practice.
None of the other players new it, so this was our version of it.

Carl. That was a nice job as well. I'm surprised at the rest of the players. That song falls in the category of 'if you've heard one country song', you've heard them all. Not playing on such a simple song, that is sad.
Good picking and singing on your part. _________________ heavily medicated for your safety |
