I have a buddy with a FenderĀ® Acoustasonic Jr amp that needs to power it for a parade. Does anyone have any suggestions besides a generator? Anyone ever use one of those converters with a car battery?
Thanks for any help. |

The last time I was on a float, I used a little Coleman generator. It worked fine and was very quiet. |

Rent a Honda EU1000 or EU2000 generator. Quiet and best in the business for clean power. _________________ On man....let the smoke out of another one. |

I saw a high school band amplifying something with a car battery and a power inverter. |

The Honda EU series are so good! Super quiet and well regulated. Made for RV use and they are great. Had a n EU3000is, wish I still had one!!! |

Kenny, if you go the inverter route, be sure to get a Pure Sine Wave unit. Anything else is likely to cause totally unacceptable hum. _________________ "For every expert, there is an equal and opposite expert." -- Arthur C. Clarke |
