Cool lineup. Weird tune.

Ben's vocals really remind me of Jack Bruce here.

I don't know if I meant weird in a bad way--I'm not sure. I felt slightly disoriented after listening to it. Laughing

I'm definitely in the weird camp as far as music is concerned.

I would like to see or hear them play one of Mr. Clarks compositions.

I'm a fan of all three so I think I'd like anything they might play. Stanley is coming to Detroit this summer so I'm going to try to see him.

Mike, I forgot to add the smiley after my last comment. I don't know how many Ben Harper fans are here but my guess would be not a lot so weird may actually be the majority.

Ben has been introducing the lap steel to his fans for a long time. Check out the crowd in this vid:

Ben Harper plays without boundaries, when it comes to the lap steel, as we all should. I hope they do an album. They leave me wanting to hear more.
I agree with Mike, I do hear Jack Bruce when I hear Ben Harper sing.

I love playing "with boundaries". YMMV, but I don't have time in my life to cover every style of music from Inuit to Antarctic.

I'm so glad that Rap and no talent chick singers are the popular music now, and crap like this is overlooked. NOT!
