I don't know if I meant weird in a bad way--I'm not sure. I felt slightly disoriented after listening to it. 
I'm definitely in the weird camp as far as music is concerned.

stuart coplands technique made my left wrist hurt!
stanley clark playing the same lick over and over...all i could hear was him playing on the light as a feather lp. my how things change. |

Ben Harper plays without boundaries, when it comes to the lap steel, as we all should. I hope they do an album. They leave me wanting to hear more.
I agree with Mike, I do hear Jack Bruce when I hear Ben Harper sing.
