I am sure many on here are familiar with Jackie Harmon from Sherman,Texas. I have had the opportunity lately to jam with him a couple of times. That Mullen guitar sounds so good and he does a fine job playing. Jackie also plays a mean bass guitar and is an awesome singer. He attends a few of the steel shows and helps out singing and playing as well. I want to take the opportunity to say if you have never heard Jackie Harmon play or sing you are missing one talented man. Top that off with him being a kind gentleman. I just wanted to give the credit to a kind and talented man. He is steels most hidden talent. Thanks Jackie, you are so deserving of my respect.

Paul everything you said about Jackie is the gospel. Wish I could talk him into retiring and moving to Colorado. We could have a large time. Very Happy
George

Oh yeah . . . Kudos on Jackie . . .
throughout the years at ISGC I'd
notice him from the bandstand,
then there were several times that
a singer or bass player was needed
on the stand on the spur of the moment,
so Jackie hopped up there and rose to
the occasion. . . He sure is a good musician.
Wished I had a gig with him sometime!

Jackie had told me he will be there at the Oklahoma show on Saturday for sure. I would bet he could be persuaded to help out if needed.
