This really makes me kick myself in the rear for putting all my spare cash down on a new Harley-Davidson yesterday. Guys, This amp is top-flite. And although I've never played one with steel - Yes, it should sound GREAT with steel. 100 watts should give you ALL the clean headroom you could ever ask for. Plus, who doesn't want to be able to flip the phaser switch for those Waylon covers??? haha Ralph Mooney would love this amp. TO THE TOP for a great amp at a great price!!!

I have the 2-12 Music Man amp and concerning the built in phaser, not only good for Waylon guitar sounds you can also dial in a very good and usable organ sound........I use mine all the time with that effect, especially for backup on R&B type tunes or slow gospel songs......JH in Va.
