Just looking for some opinions on what amp works best for a Gibson ES335...preferably tube. Thanks.

Well, Larry Carlton uses Dumbles with his 335, but that might be a little pricey. It probably depends on what kind of music you're playing. It's hard to beat a Fender Twin for about any kind of music, but if you're looking for a nice, clean Jazz sound, the Acoustic Image amps sound great, as well as a lot of the Peavey models. I had a Nashville 112 for a few years and it got a good jazz sound.

I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro.

Yea, I knew about the Dumble, Rick Wheeler, Larry's tech, is a good friend of mine. I'll try my NV112. Thanks. I should try an L5 Lab Series like B.B.

Hey, Darvin, I tried the NV112...good, clean sound. Not bad at all. I like it. Thanks. I think I'm gonna try all my steel amps with the 335...
