Does anyone own, or has anyone played a newer model BMI S10? Was wondering what people think of it when compared to the GFI, ETS, Justice, etc.

Thanks. They seem to be reasonably priced and the name has been around for quite some time. It just seems that I don't read much about them from players. I'm wondering what a new S10 weighs?

Hi Fred, I have a new black mica BMI "Flight Ready" S-10 (possibly the 1st one), 3 & 5 w/Gene Turner's "Power Boost" pickup. It's very well built, has a timbre that I really like, and only weighs 24 lbs out of the case Very Happy . Also, great customer service. Please feel free to email.

My BMI is my the first PSG I have owned, or even played, so I have little to compare it to, but I feel like it is a high quality guitar, tunes, plays and sounds great.

I have two of 'em but they're not new, both from the seventies but still working great. My main one is an S-12 with 8 FP and 5 KL which I've had for a long time and gig at least 3 to 4 nights a week with. The second one is a "loafer" with 6 FP and 5 KL which I keep set all the time at home. Here's a shot of each of them.......JH in Va.

Great guitar. Very solid. Good guys to deal with @ BMI. Of course every steel I own has Beck on it.
