Hi folks, I recently joined the forum to pass along information for my father-in-law Kayton Roberts. Kayton wanted to let you know that he will be playing the ISGC in St Louie this year. He's working out the times with Scotty, but I do know he is planning to play during the Hawaiian set and he's excited about that.

Kayton recently finished a new CD which is comprised of many of Hank Snow's greatest hits. He will be loading the back of the van with CD's for the St. Louis trip! And for those not able to attend the ISGC we'll be offering an opportunity to buy them very soon.

Looking forward to sharing in on the fun with KR.

Thanks,
Les

I remeber seeing kayton play at the Atlanta Steel show for the first time. He was aweseome then and still is today. He gets more sounds out of his non-pedal guitar than most players with pedals do. I am looking forward to seeing him at Scott's. Al Svenddal

Jeez, that's weird,'cause I called Keyton,a while back,& asked him to come out to our NTSGA jam,& he informed me that he was "not actively involved in playing anymore". It was shortly after that, that he went all the way up to Canada to do a show.
Hmmm!

I also saw Kayton in Atlanta at the same time as Albert, and I was impressed by his playing. He did a no-pedal set with Herb Remington and L T Zinn on Rhythm guitar. A great performance that will never be duplicated. That was one that should have been put on videotape.

I am sorry that I will miss St. Louis this year, as I have prior commitments in Minnesota. Be sure to say hello to Kayton for me.
