I want to replace the pickup in my Sho-Bud LDG for a humbucker, because and the stand the hum. Anyone out there using the George L's TPP pickup? Searched the forum and didn't find much.

Hi Alex. I used them on both my D-10 Carters for about 15 years. About 2 years ago, I switched to Alumitones which have better separation but the TPPP's are nice if you want HB's.

Here are mine in a live set with a handheld video recorder. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xshxJJI1Jk&feature=plcp

I still have these pickups. E mail or PM me if you want a bargain. Your post prompted me that they are wrapped in paper towels in a cabinet in my music room. I will give the recommended donation to the forum even though I didn't advertise them in the for sale section. Smile
