Sunday, 4/29/12 West Side School Auditorium-Siloam Springs, Ar. 18th Annual Steel Guitar Club final day of Show --
10:00 AM Jeremiah and Venda Hanley opens with a very inspirational church service with music, gospel and prayer. Very very special couple that God has used all of their life to spread his gospel through their talented music and testimony.
Louie Hallford with Jackie Harmon on bass and vocals
Del Lombard A good lesson here on not having to pack all that equipment around to get a great sound--and Del does just that, for sure !
DeWain May and "The Saggy Bottom Band"
Clovis Richards with Patsy Cox on vocals
Wayne Morton
Rick Crow
Super picker, Ronnie Neighbors.
The Pride of The Statesiders--Terry Bethel
Norma Jean on Terry's set
In order to be a well read person you have to --ahh--well--- read a lot !!!! -
Of course all that reading takes it's toll on a body -
Oh Oh - I got a new person to add to my shoeless pickers album. Who can identify ?? -
Three great ladies that worked so hard at keeping the crowd fed and happy - Left to right : Connie Harrington, Barbara Rosetta and "Miss Eva" Myrick. |

Looking at these pictures....it just seems like they were taken today. It all seems so fresh in my memory! Our times spent at Siloam Steel Guitar Shows have always left good memories! Anyone reading this thread....if you have 'time' open for entertainment next year, be sure and go to the Siloam Springs Show! Your need for good music is there and your need for fine food is there and your need for much fellowship is there, also! Thanks Bill for the story you told in pictures!! I still feel a little sleepy!! _________________ Jerry and Venda |

Bill I love the picture of Jerry! Not everyone can snooze with all the music, except me I think. I want noise in the background, if it gets too quiet I can't sleep! Have you added Mike Spaeth to your list of playing without shoes? I didn't notice Saturday but he use to play in socks. |
