I have accumulated a room full of silverface "twins" (one is a Dual Showman Reverb) and a couple have to go, As the heaviest, and as I move into my mid fifties, this one has to go first.
This ultralinear, 135 watt silverface Twin Reverb served as my main steel amp for about three years. Bought it here on the Forum from George King in May 2008; he had owned it for a couple of years before that. It's actually in a '71 TR cab that's in better shape than one it came in. I had it in a dual showman reverb head-cabinet, and I'd be willing to negotiate selling it that way too if anyone is interested.
Generally speaking it is everything you'd expect: clean, tons of good tonefull headroom, very loud, and heavy. The loudness can be attenuated since it's a master volume version. I have somewhat softened the weight by putting in two relatively light speakers. The blue label Fender is a mid-seventies Utah; the slightly beefier black magnet is a 100 watt Eminence from another amp. I have a Black Widow 1503-8 I could sub for one or the other at a price (but ouch! the weight!!) I have always loved the sound of this amp and would not be selling it if it were a few pounds (well, 10 or 12) pounds lighter.
Forumite Bob Metzger worked on this amp last summer and replaced/upgraded a number of components under the hood. Most notably: he rewired numerous parts of the amp with shielded wiring; added a bias amount pot; removed the pull distortion on the master volume and replaced it with a pull presence instead (it’s an on/off presence as the knob still functions as a master volume control); put reverb in both channels; black-faced the reverb circuit; and modded the tone stack in channel 1 for steel. These are the highlights; if anyone is interested in the details (which mostly involve components I know nothing about) I’d be happy to give you the full detailed list that Bob gave me.
I would prefer to sell this within New England, but I am willing to ship it if necessary. I'm also willing to drive up to 100 miles to meet someone half way. I will also be driving down to Philly in late May and could deliver it if the buyer is not too far out of my way.

Since someone asked: as a head cabinet, this weighs @50lbs (chassis 33, head cab 17). I could reconfigure in the following ways if anyone were interested:
Head cabinet: $600 obo (plus shipping)
Cab is in decent shape. (Bought this from Ken Fox on Ebay about five years ago). I installed handles on the sides for more ergonomic carrying. Top handle still there so you can carry the head in one hand and a speaker cab in the other.
Chassis alone $500 obo (plus shipping)
Would be wrapped with a lifetime supply of bubble wrap. Tubes pulled and wrapped separately
