GFI players out there,what pickup are you using and why. I am using a GL E66. IT gives me decent mid range, but the bottom range is a little muddy. and the top end is a little shrill.
I'd like to hear from any one using a True tone and what the ohms are.

i tried a tru tone it was alittle basey for me and i tried gl 10-1 didnt care for it now i have bl 705 and like it just fine my next try will be the telonics 84

Trutone was great. Jerry will wind it specifically for the GFI...I think around 17.5, not sure. WAY better than stock pickup.
But I've since switched to Telonics on all my steels, it is the only one with real personality on every single string...
