Dated 1/55, s/n 3405, with worn original finish and all original parts (near as I can tell). Outside pickup mount plate has "brass" finish-dunno if the chrome plating was polished off or what(?), but it is shiny and smooth like the chrome plate. Has holes through the bottom of body and through tuner pans where Rube Goldberg (former owner?) rigged up a pedal arrangement. All of the possible "MIT professor's" pedal hardware included, but I have never sought to hook it up. Pickups seem to have good output and coils are not warped. Includes handsome tweed case in very good condition. All hinges and clasps function well. Legs work well and have new rubber tips. Has that "singing" tone, and is a splendid guitar, but I caught Stringmaster fever and can only keep one multi-neck steel! $1100 shipped to your door, provided your door is in the 48 CONUS.
