There is a really great video on YouTube of KT Tunstall playing her breakthrough hit "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" with just her guitar, a microphone and the Akai Headrush II looper. I got one myself but so far I have just been using it as a tape delay- best one I've ever played! One drawback is that has only audio outputs with no capacity to store loops.

Here is the Reader Digest version of the link:

So what is it with the new YouTube interface? Not that new is bad but where is the volume control??? (I just found it- under the full screen icon which renders it useless for me.)

EDIT So I guess you click on the screen to start and stop the video. With my version of Firefox the darned icons are blocking the time displays. Facebook Fever is ruining my browsing experience... Bring back MS-DOS!
EDIT 2 YouTube got rid of that weird user interface the next day. Thank God! _________________ www.blueguitar.org

I use one. Lots of fun and a good way to practice. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

The new Boomerang pedal is hard to beat in terms of sound and features for live playing. My wife performs a lot doing solo shows with the looper (with cello) and she gets a great sound from this unit. |
