Guys,
We had a wonderful time at the Southern Ill. Show this weekend. While we were there Austin Stewart sat down behind my Julian Tharpe Model 14 string pedal steel. I thought you folks would like this. Austin is an incredible player at 17 years of age and takes a back seat to nobody.

That does not surprise me about Austin.
That young man can play anything with strings on it.
Also want to add I do not think you could find a nicer
or finer young man to carry the torch of the steel guitar forward to the next generation than Austin.
Just my personal opinion.
Thanks ... Ron

Let me say I'm not trying to change the subject. I think Austin will give this forum and steel guitar industry many years of great music. And as it has been mentioned a nice feller too.

Thanks for all the kind words about Austin. We had a great time at Illinois. Thanks for posting the video. I didn't get the chance to see him play in your room.
