I wasn't able to attend the Peoria Jam and I have been looking for post about the jam. How did it go, attendance and who all played? Sorry I missed Dino, maybe next year.

Hey Roger! We would have loved to have had you! The show turned out great. Crowd was good for our second year and the playing was incredible. We already have Steel Jam 06 planned for Sun June 25. Hope you make plans on attending. There were several posts on here after the show. I think everyone really enjoyed it. Doug Jernigan is something!

Hey Rog!
Good to hear from you. Our show went great- the room was fantastic, Mike Webb brought top of the line sound equipment, and did an outstanding job of running it! Darrin Hamilton had a giant screen system set up, and you could see every thing that was going on. As Rich said, Jernigan was knocked out!- "Played Arkansas Traveler" at Warp Speed, and then it was off to the races, as they say. Dale Thomas played, and closed the show jamming with Doug Jernigan and Donny Vore. Tom Pickett Jr. played drums with me on my set Other Iowans in attendance were John Czarsninski, and his brother Bruce, and their lovely wives, and Jeff Jackson. Mark Krutsgy came also, and played a great set. Hope I didn't leave any one out. Are you going to St. Louis? If not, I'll probably see you in Waterloo.

Hey Roger. Here is a link to some of the pics at the show. Only bad thing is we don't have the names on the pics but I am sure you will know some of them...

Our good friend Laura took them and put them up on the CITY LIMITS website...

Now that I'm back on the forum and getting around I would love to come next year. I grew up around Effingham and I use to know a lot of pickers around Peoria and all over Il.

I use to set in with Dyke years ago when he was the star of "Pork and the Havana Ducks" I just loved Dykes playing and pink guitar :-)

I will be there next year good Lord willing I can't wait. If it's ok I'l bring my rig and set in if that's allowed. I don't know for sure who's in charge but I guess I've got a year to find out and butter them up hee hee.
