Lastnight at the American Legion between Springfield and Republic, Missouri, I had a great time playing with the Country Fever band. The sound system at the Legion was great, espically the monitors. Everything was clear. It was a big hall and I could crank up the volume on my Nashville 1000. Seems to me the big amps seem to come on, and sound better, when they are cranked up. The band guys complemented me on the tone of my Zumsteel. Everything was cookin so I got on the C6th went a little to the left of center on a few tunes. I was mentally prepared as I listened to some hard core Dicky Overbey on the way to the job. I play again tonight with Country Fever Band at the Nixa community center. Different drummer. Come out if you want to hear a band that has fiddle and steel guitar.
