I have a friend who has one and he is wondering what tuning for E or G and the gauge of strings. I would recommend the E tuning as he plays Spanish guitar. _________________ 2006 Zum D10 8x8,1969 ZB Custom D10,

Here's high E6:
G# .008
E .010
C# .012
B .014
G# .018w
E .027w
C# .030w
Here's C6, add low:
E .010
C .012-.014
A .018
G .023w
E .027w
C .030w
A .039w
You can get most of these out of a 12string set of phosphor-bronze Martin SP Extra Light, MSP4600. Generally, when pulling a set from spanish guitar, don't fudge the tension more than one semitone up or two down. All of the C6 except C itself lie on normal guitar string tones so it's easy to figger out. |

Shot Jackson used a straight E Major..
1.E--014
2.B--017
3.G#-022
4.E--030
5.B--038
6.G#-046
7.E--056
He used if for Country Stylings but it is a good
Hawaiian Tuning also. _________________ Custom Tabs Various Tunings
