I bought this last year hoping to add another instrument to my arsenal. Total failure! No more than 2-3 hours of usage. Looks brand new. Purchased for $199 from Musicians Friend & here's an excerpt of their description...
The ideal beginning student instrument - well set up for good playability, plus with Perfection Pegs' ease of tuning and stability, practically eliminating the need to tune every day! Unlike regular friction pegs, Perfection Pegs feature a 4:1 gear reduction inside the peg for effortless, smooth, fast and precise tuning by even a beginner. Fine adjustment in seconds, not minutes, and without tailpiece fine tuners that alter the sound quality of the strings. Outfit includes lightweight dart-shaped case and brazilwood bow with natural horsehair. I'll email pics if you're interested. I'll take $125 & ship it anywhere in the CONUS. Thanks for your interest.
