I'm planning on setting up Curly Chalker's C6th tuning on the back neck of my Excel D10. The tuning is ADFACEGACE (low to high).

I'm wondering if anyone here is using that tuning, and if so, what string gauges would you recommend? Thanks.

I think Danny Sneed uses that tuning with great success!

Thanks for the advice, Rick.
Danny's an awesome player and he does some very cool stuff with that tuning.

I just finished setting it up...here's the setup I came up with. I'm still experimenting of course, but it's working well at the moment. I knew it would work in theory, but I'm surprised how easy it is to play...
