'69 raised neck Maverick rebuild by Harry Jackson.
I also have a set of standard length pedal rods to play sitting.
Knee lever extension for playing in the standing position.
Woodwork by Ron Blakley, an AWESOME PSG player himself. 18:1 ratio Grover Rotomatics, almost never goes out of tune.
Threaded leg sockets, MAJOR improvement. If you look close to the left of the leg socket, you will see Duane Marrs handwriting.
Under the hood, showing the heavily modded original "changer."
Close up of the palm plunger and tall volume knob, for "volume pedal" swells.
I'm not good at copedants, but here is what I am using. (the v is down, my keyboard doesn't have an arrow down key)
G# pedal B^1/2
E knee ^1/2 & 1 and palm v1/2
B pedal A^1

(The knee lever is a RL, with a half stop) _________________ Scott Shipley Facebook |

Thanks Joshua! It plays like a dream, and has tone for days. Harry Jackson did a heckuva job on it! _________________ Scott Shipley Facebook |

That's really cool. I like the plunger pedal design and the stand-up steel concept. It looks really nice too. _________________ www.pedalsteel.ca |

Thanks guys! I've been giggin heavy with it for about a year now and it's holdin up really well. No issues or hitches. The stand up thing obviously has its limitations, but having the option to strap on a tele and still be the front guy is very freeing. The tuning I'm using really makes that easier. Everything is there, ya just gotta be creative to get it! Been playing it the last few months through a tweed Blues Junior with a 12, and really likin the tone. The guitar has TONS of bottom anyway, and that 12 accents the mids and highs really nicely. Thanks for the kind words y'all, not everybody digs Mavericks. _________________ Scott Shipley Facebook |

Coincidentally, the plunger is actually left over parts Shot made for Buck Trent's banjo. Being a closet Porter Wagoner fan and from his hometown, I'm really likin that! _________________ Scott Shipley Facebook |
