Earl Scruggs Funeral Service was held April 1 at the Ryman Auditorium and was broadcast live over WSM Radio. An archive of that broadcast available here:
(Earl Scruggs Celebration of Life)

Listen for Bela Fleck's tribute to Earl. He talks about the first time he heard the sound of Earl's banjo and I think his words speak to all of us. Everybody remembers the first time they heard Buddy Emmons or Robert Johnson or Bird or Muddy or Hank or the Foggy Mountain Boys or whoever it was that made the sounds that set them upon their musical path.

Also on this page is an archive of Eddie Stubbs' 3 hour tribute to the life and career of Earl from Stubb's April 4th broadcast.
